Greetings my stamping friends. It has been far too long since I last posted a project to share with you. My sincerest apologies. For those of you who have not given up hope on me, I thank you.
The current world wide crisis is very frightening. I hope that each and every one of you – known and unknown to me personally – remain safe and healthy in the days, weeks and months to come.
I have been in a funk for many months even before this virus made itself known and I am going to try to brighten my days, and in return hopefully yours, by sharing a new project with you every day going forward. I will use the hastags #acardaday and #makeacardsendacard if you wish to follow me on social media.
As I notified you in an earlier post today, Sale-A-Bration will end on March 31, 2020. This means you have seven days remaining to take advantage of the FREE products you can earn with each $50 (Level 1) or $100 (Level 2) purchase you make. There are no limits on the number of FREE products you can redeem; however, they are available only while supplies last!
For today’s project I used my favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp set (FREE with a $50 order before taxes and shipping) — The Gang’s All Meer. This was my first redemption during demonstrator pre-order back in November (oh my!) and this is the first time I have used it.
Yes those are meercats! Aren’t they adorable!
I created the large “gang” of meercats with the “masking technique” where you stamp on a scrap sheet or post-it note to cover an area previously stamped to protect it. I had a much larger group but elected to cut it down by hand which I attached to the card front with dimensionals.
Using a 4.00″ x 5.25″ piece of whisper white card stock, I stamped a staggered row of cacti so that I had a defined area to create the sandy ground. All stamped images, as well as the background, were colored using my Stampin’ Blends®. You can’t see in the photo, but I added Wink of Stella to the poppies on the cacti.
Here is a list of the supplies you will need to create this card (or something similar):

If you need help submitting an order and redeeming your FREE Sale-A-Bration products, do not hesitate to ask for my help. It would be my pleasure.
Become a Demonstrator!
If you have a wish list that is several pages long (like me) and you would like to join as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator so you can take advantage of a minimum 20% discount, I would be happy to help you with that as well. As a demonstrator you can purchase products before they are made available to the general public, you can attend demonstrator only events and you will make lots of friends in the process. I signed up for the discount over 10 years ago and not a day has gone by that I ever regretted my decision.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Linda
