Peace & Joy to the World

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are doing well.

If you do not follow me on my Facebook Business Page then you missed my update that I am attending Stampin’ Up!’s #OnStageAtHome this weekend. It is a virtual online convention in lieu of our annual in person event. Thursday night we had our Awards event. The opening musical entertainment was Pat Benatar and her husband, Neil Giraldo. We then had various award recognitions mixed with stamping presentations featuring Million Dollar Sales Achievers and the stamp sets they designed that are featured in the new 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. Oh, and we got to download a copy of the new catalog too!

Today’s project is – you guessed it – another card from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat. She selected a product bundle from the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog called Peace & Joy that includes a photopolymer stamp set and coordinating set of dies. For this particular card, we just used the stamp set and ink pads, but it is oh so lovely without any die cuts.

If you wanted to give your card some added dimension, you can cut the word “Joy” out with the coordinating dies and popped it up with some mini dimensionals. Oh what fun!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

A Noel Pine Tree Wrapped In Christmas

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are all doing well. We have begun pre-sale home repairs here at our current home and the foundation was to have been poured today at the home we are having built out in Aubrey. Exciting and nerve wracking times all around.

Today’s project that I am sharing with you today is another card from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat. She really out does it with projects when she puts on her events. I don’t think I have even shared half of the projects with you yet. This card uses products from both the Annual Catalog and the August-December Mini Catalog.

It’s another quick and easy layout with very little stamping. Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card. You can add these items to your shopping cart by clicking on the thumbnails below:

If you have any questions regarding any of the design elements of this card, including measurements of any of the layers, please do not hesitate to ask.

Merry Christmas Poinsettia Place

Greetings my stamping friends! I am sitting here trying not to chew on my fingernails as I watch the election returns. I’m sure we all have our difference taste in candidates so I won’t get political on you here in my post, but this is nerve wracking for sure!

Today’s project is another card from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat. This card features products from the Poinsettia Place suite. The magic in this card is mostly the beautiful paper and dies by Stampin’ Up!

I think my favorite element on this card is the velvet paper that was used on the poinsettia. You have to see it and feel it in real life to truly appreciate the luxuriousness of it.

Season’s Greetings In the Pines

Greetings my stamping friends! Is it too early to start sharing Christmas card ideas with you? Of course not! After all, it takes a bit of time to get all of your supplies together and your creations completed, so a little inspiration a few months ahead is a good thing.

I am sharing one of my favorite Christmas cards from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat. It uses the In The Pines Bundle from the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog (see page 43).

It is really a quick and easy layout. Amy used the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out the Whisper White pieces, but you could easily just cut your pieces with the paper trimmer if you don’t have this particular set of dies (or just add them to your shopping cart below!).

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card. You can add the items you need to your shopping cart by clicking on the thumbnails.

Love of Leaves Hello

Greetings my stamping friends! What a brisk cool day we had today! Unfortunately I slept through most of it after getting one of my infusion treatments yesterday. But it is the perfect weather finally for Fall here in Texas.

Today’s project share is another card from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat featuring a product bundle from the August through December 2020 Mini Catalog – Love of Leaves. Like many of the products that Amy used at her retreat, I did not have this bundle but I just had to have it after seeing how beautiful the dies can make your projects (and quick and easy as well).

She basically cut the leaf from the piece of cardstock and used both pieces in the design of the card – genius!

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card. You can add these items to your shopping card by clicking on the thumbnails below:

Gilded Autumn Suite – My Heart is Grateful

Greetings my stamping friends! As we are nearing the end of October, thoughts are beginning to turn to Fall and then naturally to Thanksgiving. This year may be a bit different for many families this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I know that for me and my husband, we will not be making our usual trip out to Denton this year. I have nieces that are in college and I know they do not socially distance well enough for me to feel safe to be around them. It is hard for someone like me who is in a high risk group to spend much time around friends and family if you don’t know how they behave when they are out in public themselves.

Today’s project share is another card from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat and features products from the Gilded Autumn suite from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. The suite itself is not orderable at this time (the designer series paper is on backorder); however, you can order everything else in the suite if it’s on your must have list.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card. You can add these items to your shopping cart by clicking on the thumbnails below:

Product List

This card would be perfect to send at Thanksgiving or any time of year. If you have any questions regarding any of the design elements, such as measurements, do not hesitate to ask.

Don’t forget that through the end of the month, there is a sale on select packs of designer series paper. Don’t miss your chance to save 15%. Click HERE for more information.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends!

Happy Halloween Magic in this Night

Greetings my stamping friends. For today’s blog post I am sharing with you another Halloween card that we made at Amy’s Holiday Retreat. It features the products from the Magic in this Night suite from the August – December 2020 Mini Catalog.

Please forgive my less than perfect die cuts of the bats. My face mask was making it hard to line up the dies at times.

Here are the Stampin’ UP! products that were used in the design of this card. To add these items to your shopping card, just click on the thumbnails below:

This card is much more elegant looking in real life. If you are a fanatic for Halloween, then this suite is a definite must have!

Holiday Retreat Reboot!

Greetings my stamping friends! There’s nothing like a weekend spent with a house full of friends who love playing with ink, stamps and paper as much as I do to get my creativity back on track! I spent Friday evening and all day Saturday with a group of wonderful crafters at Amy Storrie’s Annual Holiday Retreat at her historic home in Denton, Texas. We made 12 cards on Friday night and I haven’t counted yet the number of 3-D projects we made on Saturday (I still have to put some of mine together!).

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing these cards and projects with you. The first card I will be sharing is a Halloween card to “a frightfully good friend”:

The Stampin’ UP! products that were used in the design of this card are as follows. To add these items to your shopping card, simply click on the thumbnails to be redirected to my online store.

We had so much fun as we socially distanced and wore our face masks. We stayed at our same table for the entire weekend and used hand sanitizer each time we passed and changed projects around the table. (That’s me on the right!)

I have some big news that I’m not sure I have shared here yet. My husband and I are having a new home built in Aubrey, Texas. We just cleared underwriting this week and have been given a tentative closing date of February 15. This is very exciting but not a likely closing date since when we last drove by the homesite they had not yet poured the foundation. Anyways, our new home is going to have an entire “wing” where my Stampin’ Up! Suite (Bedrooms 2 & 3 and Lifestyle Room) will be located. This will mean that I will actually have an area where I can hold in-home classes and clubs and I will no longer have to trudge upstairs to get to my crafting tools!

I hope that those of you who are current customers of mine in the Dallas/Fort Worth area will not mind driving a little further to come out and stamp with me.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Joining Stampin’ Up! has never been more eventful!

Stampin’ Up!’s business year ends on September 30. I would love to have promoted in title by that time. All I am lacking in order to promote is just ONE RECRUIT! Just ONE!

If you love the products offered by Stampin’ Up! even half as much as I do (and that is saying a lot), then why not join as a demonstrator and take advantage of the minimum 20% discount off of all of your purchases, plus all of the other benefits that come with being a demonstrator? For $99 you are able to fully customize your own starter kit with products worth $125, PLUS now through September 30, you will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set at no extra cost to you.

Here are a few samples of the cards you could make with these extra supplies:

If you have a history of spending at least $100/month or $300/quarter on craft supplies, then you would already meet your quarterly requirements to remain an active demonstrator off of your own purchases! Whether you want to join to take advantage of the discount (which would actually allow you to purchase MORE products since you are saving at least 20%) or want to turn this into a business venture, I would love to have you as my recruit.

Our Statement of the Heart embodies why I love working for this company:
