Greetings my stamping friends. I obviously need to do better and post more often here. I will try to do better going forward.
I participated in another group card swap with my Connect & Create teammates in two different categories – the January to July 2022 Mini Catalog and the January to February 2022 Sale-a-Bration Catalog. I received lots of great cards back to share with you, and the following three cards used products from the Sweet Talk Suite.
Why do we call it a suite? All of the items work so well together, we couldn’t imagine that you wouldn’t want them all, so to make ordering them easy there is one item number. However, you can still order each item separately if you prefer or if there is an item or two in the suite that doesn’t appeal to you. (REMEMBER: You save 10% when you purchase the stamp set and dies as a “bundle”.) For your convenience, I have provided the thumbnail links below:
Greetings my stamping friends. Happy Thanksgiving!
Guess what arrived in my mailbox today? If you guessed my bag of swap cards, then you are right! They are amazing and I am going to share them all with you today in this post — 13 cards. So get your favorite snack and something to drink before the show begins.
I have created a master list of products used in the projects with hyperlinks below. All of these cards use the Eden’s Garden Suite of products, but some use different card stocks as the card bases, ink colors, etc. I have attempted to list each product for your convenience so you can easily add what you need to your shopping cart if you want to try to recreate any of these cards:
Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are doing well as you count down the days until Thanksgiving.
Today I want to share with you a project I made for a card swap with some of my Connect & Create Team members using a new product suite that is being offered now as a pre-release purchase from the January to June 2022 Mini Catalog – Eden’s Garden Suite. (The swaps have been mailed to all participants so hopefully I am not spoiling anyone’s surprise!)
Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of my project:
These sneak peek products are available now through January 2, 2022. I can say that the designer series paper is phenomenal and very versatile — I have seen many cards made using this paper for Christmas cards.
If you have any questions on how you can duplicate this design or how to place an online order, please do not hesitate to contact me!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Greetings my stamping friends. This week we will be celebrating Thanksgiving! Wow, where did the time go this year? It seems like it was just a few months ago that my husband and I were closing on our new home and preparing for our move to Aubrey, Texas. That was in March …
By this time of year I have typically completed all of my Christmas cards and have them addressed and ready to go into the mail just after Thanksgiving. This year, not so much.
To help me get a quick start, I pulled out my October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Peaceful Christmas. I was not disappointed with how quick and easy the projects were, and how beautiful the completed cards turned out.
First, here is everything that came as part of the kit …
This particular kit included enough supplies to create 10 cards, five each of two designs (and, as with all of the Paper Pumpkin kits, included coordinating envelopes):
This kit was super quick and easy as you can see by watching this quick how to video (new videos are published each month once the kits have been shipped):
If you are not already a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, the deadline for each month’s kit is the 10th of the month. If you wish to receive the December 2021 kit — Lots of Pun — you have until December 10, 2021 to do so. See below for more information about this upcoming kit.
LOTS OF PUN by Paper Pumpkin (coming December 2021)
What’s not to “loaf” about a punny joke? It never hurts to have a little laughter, light-heartedness, and humor sprinkled into your schedule. If you’re a fan of fun, get a kick out of clever crafts, and can’t keep it together when you hear a classic knee-slapper, you’ll go bananas over this month’s cute ‘n’ quirky kit!
The Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin Kit includes enough egg-citing elements to create nine cards and coordinating envelopes. From giddy gingham to splatters and stripes, this playful Paper Pumpkin kit features a fun and fresh look with one-of-a-kind patterns and designs! Egg-cellent for any occasion, reason, or season throughout the year, the kit’s pun-packed stamp set provides completely customizable characters for a very versatile crafting experience. Pair each stamp with its matching die-cut snack, then mix up the faces and accessories for an absolutely adorable accent!
Pick up your friends and family with pun-filled projects. December’s delightful kit is sure to make ‘em smile!
You have options for becoming a subscriber. You can pre-purchase subscriptions of 3, 6 or 12 months or subscribe month-to-month. See the below thumbnails for the pricing options. The month-to-month price is $22.00. All prices include shipping.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Monday is my grandson Jayson’s 15th birthday and I wanted to make him a card that he would appreciate and would be age-appropriate. He has played league baseball for many years and I still had some pieces left over from the May 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit – Batter Up!
Using those pieces as my card base and embellishments, I then browsed my vast collection of stamp sets and found two that would help me create the perfect card – Biggest Wish and Happiest of Birthdays. So with these two stamp sets, a few scrap pieces of Basic White card stock and some ink I had my card.
Believe it or not, I did not have the Playful Alphabet Dies (for the 15th) so I had to freehand it. I need to add those to my wish list because they would have made the card perfect.
Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I did use in the design of this card, with the exception of the card case and wood bats and baseball embellishments from the Paper Pumpkin kit. I have included the super convenient hyperlinks so you can easily add the items you need to your shopping cart:
If you have any questions regarding this project, please do not hesitate to ask me.
We had an early celebration with Jayson on Saturday. He picked the restaurant – The Olive Garden – and he enjoyed the Tour of Italy, followed by Italian Donuts for dessert. They grow up way too fast.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.
Greetings my stamping friends. I have been MIA for a very long time – at least from this page. Moving into a new home, new health complications and life in general have a way of redirecting one’s best plans from time to time, and for me this has been the past six months or so.
Just last weekend, thousands of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators gathered virtually online and took part in OnStage @ Home — #onstageathome — in place of gathering in person for training and stamping presentations. During the three days of gathering we were treated to sneak peeks of new products that will be offered in the upcoming January to June 2022 Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog that starts on January 4, 2022 through February 28, 2022.
As part of the registration, we had the option to preorder a suite of products that will be available in the January to June 2022 Mini Catalog called the Heart & Home Suite. During a portion of the program on Saturday called the Stamp & Share Experience, we made the following projects which all use the products from the Heart & Home Suite.
Since these products are not yet available for purchase, I cannot provide you with quicklinks for adding these items to your shopping cart, but I can share with you photos of the new products since I have them in my possession — just one of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, getting products before they are available to the public!
I had so much fun getting my fingers all inky again and I realized how much I have missed creating these past months.
When is the last time you got your craft supplies out and created something? I would love to see what you have made. Drop me a comment with your photos or send me a post on Facebook.
I have so many new products on my desk and it is my hope and goal to use them all before the release of the new catalog in January! I hope you will stay tuned for more fun and exciting projects to comel.
If you have any questions about the upcoming catalogs or how you can get your hands on the new products before they are available for sale to the public, please contact me!
Thank you for stopping today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Greetings my stamping friends. As I mentioned in my last post, I have many products from the upcoming July-December Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure. With so many great new products to choose from, it was hard to decide which ones to use first. I finally chose the Penguin Place Bundle that has coordinating designer series paper that is FREE during Sale-a-bration, Penguin Playmates.
I created the background by cutting 1/2” from each of the designs of the Penguin Playmates DSP and attached them to a roughly 4” x 5.25” piece of Basic White Cardstock using Multipurpose Glue. I then attached the completed panel to a 8.50” x 5.50” piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock that was scored and folded at 4.25”.
The penguin, fox and bear are from one of the Penguin Playmates DSP designs (pp. 4-5 of SAB). The Penguin Builder punch (p. 33 of Mini) cuts out the penguin and then I fussy cut the other two. I added a Wonderful Snowflake from the Whimsy & Wonder Suite (p. 25 of Mini) and attached the animals using dimensionals. For the bear, I just used a dimensional behind his head.
The sentiment is from the Penguin Place stamp set (p. 33 of Mini). Both the stamp set and builder punch can be purchased separately, or together as a bundle which will save you 10%.
My finishing touch was to wrap a piece of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon from the Peaceful Place Suite (p. 37) from the inside of the card to the front and finish off with a bow.
As you will note, I used products from three different bundles/suites which is a perfect example of how well Stampin’ Up! products coordinate with each other. Just one of the many reasons why I love using them.
Now to show you how to “Sale-a-brate”: The Penguin Place Bundle, Wonderful Snowflakes, and White Glittered Organdy Ribbon total $46.00 (before taxes and shipping). By adding a package of Dimensionals ($4.00) to your order, you have earned the Penguin Playmates DSP for FREE during Sale-a-bration.
You will be able to start ordering these new products on August 3. If you don’t want to wait, you can become a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator and choose items from the Mini Catalog as part of your Starter Kit. Just ask me how to join!
If you have any questions about this project or the new products coming soon, all you need to do is contact me.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Greetings my stamping friends! I hope you all are having a marvelous Summer with family and friends.
Did you know that the July (now August) – December 2021 Mini Catalog (or, as I like to refer to it – the Holiday Catalog) goes live on August 3, 2021? We will also be celebrating a new month of Sale-a-bration (yay, FREE STUFF)! If you are a current customer of mine, you should have received complimentary catalogs from me by mail through Stampin’ Up!’s mailing service. If you have not received one by July 27 and want one, please reach out to me and I will send you one by mail directly from my home. Or if you happen to be near my new home in Aubrey, Texas, feel free to give me a call and I can leave one for you on my doorstep.
I have already placed (and received) my pre-order from this new Mini Catalog. My favorite perk of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is being able order all the new products a month before they become available to the public. Ask me how you can take advantage of this perk.
I am going to be working on new projects with the new bundles and suites of products that I have added to my collection, so be sure that you are “subscribed” to receive notifications when I make new posts to my blog!
I also plan to have a new catalog Open House in August and would love you to come and make a card with me and make some new friends. I will have more information to share with you about this event soon.
Thank you for stopping by today. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
