Holiday Retreat Reboot!

Greetings my stamping friends! There’s nothing like a weekend spent with a house full of friends who love playing with ink, stamps and paper as much as I do to get my creativity back on track! I spent Friday evening and all day Saturday with a group of wonderful crafters at Amy Storrie’s Annual Holiday Retreat at her historic home in Denton, Texas. We made 12 cards on Friday night and I haven’t counted yet the number of 3-D projects we made on Saturday (I still have to put some of mine together!).

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing these cards and projects with you. The first card I will be sharing is a Halloween card to “a frightfully good friend”:

The Stampin’ UP! products that were used in the design of this card are as follows. To add these items to your shopping card, simply click on the thumbnails to be redirected to my online store.

We had so much fun as we socially distanced and wore our face masks. We stayed at our same table for the entire weekend and used hand sanitizer each time we passed and changed projects around the table. (That’s me on the right!)

I have some big news that I’m not sure I have shared here yet. My husband and I are having a new home built in Aubrey, Texas. We just cleared underwriting this week and have been given a tentative closing date of February 15. This is very exciting but not a likely closing date since when we last drove by the homesite they had not yet poured the foundation. Anyways, our new home is going to have an entire “wing” where my Stampin’ Up! Suite (Bedrooms 2 & 3 and Lifestyle Room) will be located. This will mean that I will actually have an area where I can hold in-home classes and clubs and I will no longer have to trudge upstairs to get to my crafting tools!

I hope that those of you who are current customers of mine in the Dallas/Fort Worth area will not mind driving a little further to come out and stamp with me.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda
