It’s time to CASE the catalog again; however, when you decide to CASE someone’s card design or layout, you are not required to make it exactly as they did. I used another of the card samples on page 4 of the Holiday Catalog for today’s card and made some modifications (mainly because I didn’t want to make the floss holders like the ones on the sample!).
Here is my modified version of this card.
The holly bush was made using the Musical Season stamp set and coordinating Musical Instruments Framelits. I then cut the shape in half just after the second group of berries. I attached those straight pieces in a fan shape at the top and then the remaining “Y” shaped pieces I filled in at the bottom.

I also used my Real Red and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers to color in the holly stems. These markers are no longer sold separately, but are available in color collection packs and occasionally offered in packs of two as part of a product suite. If you wish you could substitute the Real Red / Old Olive combination pack that is available in the Holiday Catalog – Item # 145059 ($7.00) (see page 21).
