Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you all remain healthy and happy.
Today’s OnTour Online events were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I can’t wait to share with you some of the new products that are being introduced in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. Oh, by the way, I haven’t mentioned this to you yet, but a new die cutting machine is being offered in the new catalog. It will not be available on June 3 for purchase, but will be available not too long thereafter. It is called the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and there are TWO different size options. I can’t show you any pictures yet, but if you have ordered from me, you should be receiving your complementary copy of the Annual Catalog in the mail very soon. Be sure to check out p. 170!
Today’s project share carries on with my mission to use retiring stamp sets and other products. I am using the Broadway Birthday stamp set and all of the 2018-2020 In Color stamp pads. It took me three attempts to get the ballons arranged in a manner that I liked, but likely should have given it a fourth try as I am still not 100% satisfied. Let me know what you think.
This was intended to be a #simplestamping project (stamps, ink, paper), but after fiddling with the balloons I’m not sure it qualifies. There’s really nothing special about the layout or design of this card, but I started by stamping the “Hooray” sentiment and then built the balloons from there, moving up the paper. I masked off the balloons where the stamped string would over stamp and for those strings that weren’t long enough to reach the sentiment, I used a ruler and my Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker to make them longer.
Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card with the hyperlinks for ease of adding these items to your shopping cart:

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Linda
