Well, the weekend has managed to come and go too quickly and I failed to get the time I wanted to spend in my craft room. I decided to crop the giant crepe myrtle tree in the front of my house on Saturday and strained my back during the process. I guess I’m truly getting too old to do these types of tasks myself 🙁
I didn’t want the entire weekend to pass without adding a post to my blog. Instead of sharing a handmade project with you I thought I’d share some information with you about the new Photopolymer stamps that Stampin’ Up! is offering on a trial basis.
Stampin’ Up! searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And they found it. I’m excited to announce that Stampin’ Up! now has wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let’s just say they’re meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.
What makes them so great?
- They’re entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
- They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
- Can you say sticky? (Don’t worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
- They’re age tested. They won’t yellow or cloud up over time.
- We could go on, but we’ll let you try them for yourself.
Photopolymer stamps will be offered on a trial basis. Based on popularity, Stampin’ Up! hopes to release more photopolymer stamp sets over the coming months. At this time they don’t plan on offering a line of photopolymer sets as expansive as our wood-mount and clear-mount lines.
I just ordered my set and will post some projects just as soon as I can play with them!
I hope you had time this weekend to play with your stamps. I promise to share something creative with you very soon.
Hugs,
Linda
