Greetings my stamping friends. What a lovely day it was on Saturday. I “supervised” my husband as he replaced the ceiling fan on our patio. Now we can enjoy more time outside with the breeze it will provide in the hot days ahead. I hope you are all doing well and are staying safe and healthy.
Continuing on with my mission to use my retiring stamp sets, today’s project share features a versatile (but barely used by me) stamp set — Beautiful Promenade. This stamp set also has a set of coordinating dies, Beautiful Layers; however, I did not use the dies on my project. Here is today’s card:
While this card may look difficult (or time consuming), it really isn’t. The Beautiful Promenade stamp set is a two-step set, which means there are two different stamps to create the flower. One stamps the outline of the flower, and the other stamps the striped inside of the flower. Neither stamp fully colors in the flower, so I used a coordinating Stampin’ Blends to color in the flowers and the leaves. To get the black flower stamens, I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and just inked the stamens on the outline stamp after I had colored with the Blends. For the tag sentiment, I punched out two of the tags in Basic Black and offset them on the top and bottom so they peek out.
Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card along with the hyperlinks for ease of shopping:

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Linda
