I am finally sharing with you today a project that I designed as my group swap at last Saturday’s Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Fort Worth, Texas. Silly me had failed to take photos of my completed project so thanks to Amy Storrie for sending me a photo of the one she received.
I love both of the bold images that are the main stamps in the Beautiful Day stamp set from the Occasions Catalog. It was difficult deciding which one to use but I finally decided to go with the butterfly. Good news is that this particular stamp set will carry over to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog! (YAY!).
Here is my card:
I need to work on my “blending” technique a bit more as I could never get the look I was going for and then after working on so many of the butterflies (I needed 30 swaps) my Daffodil Delight blends were nearly bone dry! Oh the agony! (I blame my right ankle for this one – lol.)
Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card which you can add to your shopping cart with a quick click on the thumbnails below:
If you have any questions regarding measurements or other design elements, just ask.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Linda
