This has been my viewpoint since Thursday or maybe Friday.
To be honest with you all I really don’t know what day of the week it is. Everything after 6:30 AM on Monday, March 12, has been seen through a narcotic haze from morphine to Hydrocodone which while they have given me really bizarre hallucinations, they have not really done much to ease the pain.
Let’s see, there was the one day I could swear time was running backwards. As hard as I tried to sleep every time I looked at the clock it was an hour or two earlier than the last time I looked. Then I couldn’t remember that my Mom and husband had been there with me through the day. And let’s not forget last night when I could have sworn that the product tag on the privacy curtains was a giant bug just waiting for the perfect moment to pounce on me. Oh what fun – NOT!!!
The bright side is that I have seen first-hand the white knight who is my husband and who will stand up to people if he doesn’t believe I am receiving proper treatment within a reasonable time of pushing the call button. Perhaps it’s just due to the weekend and they are short staffed at night but if they continue to wait 20-30 minutes to respond they will be faced with more work later (ie) needing to change my bed linens. Just saying …
Another bright side is that I have had this beautiful peace of artwork to admire which I know will inspire me when I am able to put my stamps to ink to paper. Until that time, I would love to see what you are working on. E-mail me your projects and help brighten my day!
Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Linda
Bless your heart Linda. Feel better soon!!!
