Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are all doing well and remain safe and healthy as you gathered with your family to honor America’s heroes on Memorial Day.
I apologize for my extended absence. I have been so very tired these past few days. I actually went to bed Saturday night around midnight and woke up Sunday afternoon about 3:00 pm when my husband took my wrist to check for a pulse. I had to chuckle when he did that.
I have had a project to share with you since Thursday. It is the card I made for my youngest niece who graduated from Denton Ryan High School this week using retiring stamp sets – Beautiful You & Beautiful Bouquet.
I stamped the lady twice – once on whisper white and again on a piece of DSP. I cut out the dress from the DSP and overlaid it on the image stamped onto the whisper white and adhered with multipurpose glue. I cut a 1.00” square piece of real red cardstock to create the cap and adhered it over the hat (you may want to make it slightly bigger because it barely covers the hat). I cut small pieces os white bakers twine and adhered with multipurpose glue and then added a large basic pearl. The arms and legs are colored with my Ivory Stampin’ Blends marker and the shadow is colored with my Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker.
Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card with the hyperlinks for ease of shopping:

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
Linda
