I have another treat for you from last Saturday’s Stamped with Joy group meeting. This cute little “3-D” project was created by our group leader, Amy Storrie. (I know Amy said she CASEd [copy and share everything] this project design but I can’t remember where she got her inspiration.)
[Objects are smaller than they appear.]
While my photo may make this 3-D item look gigantic, it’s really pretty petite. The finished item measures approximately 2.75″ x 2.0″ x .75″ and a bite size Twix bar is tucked inside.
If you want to make some of these cuties (they would make great party favors!), here is what you will need:
Stamps: (I’m not sure what set Amy used; perhaps one not yet released …)
Ink: Tangerine Tango
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Garden Green, This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper (NEW ITEM!!!)
Other: Snail Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Soda Pop Tops, Daffodil Delight 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon, 1/16″ Circle Handheld punch, 7/8″ Scallop Circle punch
If you’re thinking to yourself “hey, that soda pop top looks smashed”, you would be correct. Amy ran them through the Big Shot to flatten down the tips. Genius idea, Amy! (By the way, leave a comment with the name of that stamp set!)
Until next time, stamp on my friends,
Linda
The stamp set I used is the new A Round Array set (a sneak peek from the new catalog that you can order right now in a bundle along with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle punch). I stamped it then punched out the center of the stamp with the 1/2″ circle punch.
(you can find the measurements for making this little treat box on my blog)
Thanks for featuring my project!
Thanks Amy!
